Trillian overview
Trillian is a chat application that tries to integrate most of the major chat networks into one application. It allows you to connect, chat and manage your AIM, MobileMe, Bonjour, Facebook Chat, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, MySpaceIM, Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger so you can communicate with friends using only one application. Skype is not currently supported.

Numbering chaos continues. (1) The version at the Mac App Store is v6.6.4. √ Verified twice! (2) But the number listed at the Mac App Store is v6.6.23. (3) On the dev website, the current version is listed as v6.5.0.43. <- - Never have I seen numbering chaos this bad.

v6.5.9(43) is the real current version number of Trillian. Again we're faced with WRONG numbering both here at MU and at the Apple Mac App Store. (0_o) I can't blame MU for using the same WRONG numbering as Apple. Are we still suffering from COVID era effects? *sigh* This version of Trillian is from September 8, 2023. So you likely already have it updated.

Keeping with the same numbering scheme: This is listed by the developer as v6.5.8 (41). I hope MU repairs their error.

Nice to have alternative messaging clients, although I do not quite understand what the added value of this one is.
On the negative site, back in 2015, the Trillian servers experienced a data breach, which was found out in July next year. I haven't used the app since then, but clearly, attempts to log in onto the Trillian website to update the password end in failure: the username isn't recognised. Basically, My and every Trillian user's data was stolen, and - if that's not bad enough - accounts are deleted or login data altered. Nice, Trillian!
